This Lap board made of maple plywood was crafted with utmost intention. Its playful and stunning shape not only adds a touch of fun, but also serves a specific purpose. The curved design allows for easy and comfortable positioning with the body, while also providing freedom of movement for your wrists whether you're typing, eating, painting, gaming, drawing, or reading. Trust us, we've tested it all on these versatile puppies. The sleek and minimalist surfboard shape removes unnecessary surface area, yet still provides enough space for your mouse, phone, and more (depending on size). With a slim 1/2-inch thickness, this little gem can easily be stored under the couch, bed, or taken on trips - beach vacation friendly! Note that the small board can fit into most bags and backpacks, making it the perfect travel companion. HOW IT’S MADE
Your item will be cut out from a solid piece of furniture grade birch plywood. We include a contoured curved surface which allows the board to be close to your body while giving you full range of motion to access everything you have on your board. We coat the board with a water-based polyurethane to give the board surface a smooth look while the polyurethane protects the board from accidental spills.
FINISH OPTIONS:
- Unfinished: Your board will be sanded to 400 grit.
- Clear Coat Finish: Your board will be finished with several layers of water-based polyurethane.
PERSONALIZATION:
- Stenciling: We make stencils and use those stencils to paint or stain the design on your board before the last coat of polyurethane.
HOW IT’S PACKED
We do our due diligence to make certain that each lap board processed makes it to its new home in the same condition that it left in. As such, we make certain that your lap board is packaged in such a way that it does not rattle around within the package, this could inadvertently cause damage. Smaller orders may ship via a Priority Mail Envelope, others larger orders, may ship via Priority Mail boxes.
